Videos For Facebook: Over time with the expansion of Facebook and the continuous upgrade of Facebook app and website, that also brought about an easier video sharing and uploading options, you can now upload videos directly into your timeline from your PC or from your Android device or iOS device by either recording live or picking a video from your gallery.


If you desire to show yourself to all your Facebook friends in form a video, follow the steps below to upload a video on your Facebook timeline;

  • Choose Add Photo/Video in the Share box at the top of your Home page or Timeline.

  • Click Upload Photos/Video.

  • Select a video file from your computer.

  • (Optional) Type any explanation or comment into the Say Something About This Video box.
  • (Optional) Select who can see this video using the Privacy menu.

  • Click Post.
A blue progress bar appears at the bottom of the post. Uploading a video can sometimes take a while depending on how strong your network connection is, so be patient. When it’s ready, you’ll be notified.

 Facebook Insights: Facebook insight is a powerful analytical tool on Facebook which gives users (Facebook page owners) aggregated information about three groups of people – people connected to your Page, people in your Custom Audience and people on Facebook – in order to create posts that resonates and easily reach more people similar to the ones in your current audience.



With Facebook insights, you can get to know your audience better, you can see their age and gender breakdowns, education levels, job titles, relationship statuses and more. You can as well find out what they like, learn about people's interests and hobbies and their lifestyle to tell you about the types of people who are interested in your business.

Below are Facebook Insight sections with brief explanations;

Overview
This section provides a snapshot of your overall page’s performance in the last seven days. It is based on 3 core areas:
  • Page Likes: Total and new likes for your Page
  • Post Reach: Total number of unique people who were shown your Page and posts
  • Engagement: Total number of unique people who engaged with your Page, as well as different engagement types

Likes
In the Likes section, you’ll see 3 core metrics:
  • Page Likes: The total Page likes for each day, over a 28-day period
  • Net Likes: The number of new likes minus the number of unlikes
  • Where Your Page Likes Happened: The number of times your Page was liked, broken down by where it happened


Reach
The Reach section shows you:
  • Post Reach: The number of people your post was served to, broken down by paid and organic reach
  • Likes, comments and shares: The positive engagement that helps you reach more people
  • Hide, Report as Spam and Unlikes: Negative engagement will decrease the number of people you reach
  • Total Reach: The number of people who were served any activity from your Page


Visits
Under Visits, you’ll see:
  • Page and Tab Visits: The number of times each of your Page tabs was viewed
  • External Referrers: The number of times people came to your Page from a website outside of Facebook
  • Ensure that your Page is filled in with basic information so that you can be found by the people who matter most to you.


Posts
The Posts tab is divided into the following 3 sections:

  • When Your Fans Are Online: Shows you when the people who like your Page are on Facebook content
  • Post Type: Displays the success of different post types based on average reach and engagement
  • Top Posts From Pages You Watch: Gives you the engagement of posts from the Pages you're watching



Video
The Videos section will show you 3 things:

  • Video Views: Number of times your Page's videos were viewed for 3 seconds or more
  • 30-second Views: Number of times your Page's videos were viewed for 30 seconds or more. If a video is less than 30 seconds long, this counts when people view 97 per cent of it.
  • Top Videos: Most-viewed videos on your Page watched for 3 seconds or more.


People
  • The People tab is divided into Your Fans, People Reached and People Engaged.
  • Your Fans: View the gender, age, location and language of the people who like your Page
  • People Reached: See the people your post was served to in the past 28 days
  • People Engaged: Find out who has liked, commented on or shared your posts, or engaged with your Page, in the past 28 days. Once you know who your most engaged audience is, you can better tailor your Boosted Posts to them.

To create a live stream on Facebook:
  1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/live/create.
  2. Click Create Live Stream. 
  3. Choose where you want to post your live broadcast.
  4. Select Enable persistent stream key if you want your stream key to be permanent. If this isn't selected, you won't be able to use this stream key again after the stream ends.
  5. Copy and paste the server URL and stream key or pesistent stream key into the settings of your streaming software and start the video stream from your encoder. A preview screen will appear.
  6. Write a description, Title and Video Game tag.
  7. Click Go Live or Schedule.
Audience
During your live stream, people will be able to react and comment. You can write replies to comments or respond to them in your streaming broadcast. If you're live streaming to your timeline, you'll be able to choose the audience. When you end your live stream, it'll stay where you shared it as a video post.
Stream Key and Persistent Stream Key
Don't share your Stream Key or Persistent Stream Key. Anyone who has access to your stream key information can stream video to your post. You won't be able to use a stream key again after your live stream ends. A persistent stream key, which is created by selecting Enable persistent stream key when creating a live stream, is permanent and can be used again after a live stream ends. Keep in mind that you can only broadcast one live video at a time with your persistent stream key.
Embed Live Stream
You can embed your live stream in a website. Click near the bottom right-hand corner to get an html code that you can copy and paste to your website.
Note: You can also live stream using the Facebook Live API or live stream using publishing tools

You can add a donate button to your live video using the Facebook for iOS app or Facebook for Android app.
Facebook for iOS
You can add a donate button to your live video from a Facebook profile or verified Page.
To add a donate button to your live video using the Facebook for iOS app:
  1. Tap Live at the top of the News Feed of your profile or verified Page
  2. Tap
  3. Tap Add Donate Button
  4. Select a nonprofit or fundraiser you created
  5. Tap Start Live Video
Note: For verified Pages, only Page administrators can add a donate button to a live video and the donate button can only support a nonprofit.
Facebook for Android
You can add a donate button to your live video from a Facebook profile to support a fundraiser that you've created.
To add a donate button to your live video using the Facebook for Android app:
  1. Create a fundraiser
  2. Tap What's on your mind? at the top of News Feed and then tap Go Live.
  3. Tapin bottom left-hand corner and then select your fundraiser
  4. Tap Start Live Video

You can add captions to a video to make it accessible to a broader audience using the SubRip (.srt) file format. 
If you’re just getting started, learn about naming conventions for .srt files and common .srt formatting issues.
To add captions to your video:
  1. Click Photo/Video at the top of your timeline or News Feed.
  2. Click Upload Photos/Video.
  3. Choose a video from your computer, then click Post.
  4. We'll notify you when your video is ready to view. Click the notification or the gray date and time at the top of the post on your News Feed or timeline.
  5. Hover over the video, click Options at the bottom and select Edit this video.
  6. Click Choose File below Upload SRT files and select a .srt file from your computer.
  7. Click Save.
To add captions in other languages, repeat steps 4–7 for each additional language you want to add.
To remove captions from a video you've uploaded:
  1. Click your video to expand it
  2. Click Options at the bottom and select Edit This Video from the menu
  3. Click the X next to the file you want to remove
  4. Click Save
