Facebook Single Name: Do you wish to have a single name of Facebook? Like, use only your first name or your last name as your only name on Facebook. Well, Facebook naturally don't allow that because it is believe everyone has at least two name- surname and first name- but there are instances where only one name is given, such as in Indonesia where they only have one name. 

Using both name will distinguish individual Facebook user, there may be over a thousand Facebook user with the name "James" but the list would be streamlined when you add "Rodriguez". You may think one name is better than two or maybe you don’t want potential employers snooping all over your profile or whether you think your online behaviour is going to stop you from getting onto a grad scheme or just want to make some kind of statement, there is a way to switch to a single name on Facebook.

Follow these steps to switch to single Name on Facebook;

• Firstly go on your Facebook account settings 

• Change the language to Bahasa Indonesia (this is because many Indonesians only have a single name),

The next step may be a little complicated. In order to make Facebook believe you are actually from Indonesia.

• Use a Google Chrome extension like GeoProxy and select Indonesia as your home location. 

• Then refresh your internet browser.

• Now go on your Facebook account and just delete your second name.
