So, Facebook gives you the option to search for friends using their mobile number, at least this would bring out the exact person using the phone number but keep in mind, if your friend has decided to keep their number private, you will not be able to find them.

How to Search Facebook with Cell Number
To find someone on Facebook through phone number, simply follow the steps below; 

• Login to your Facebook account

• Click the search box above your Facebook homepage

• Type in the mobile number in the search box. 

• Then hit enter or tap the search icon.

If your friend's number is public, you should be able to see their profile in the search results.
