1. Launch your Web browser and log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click "Photos" in the left navigation menu, in the Apps section.

3. Click the "My Albums" button near the top of the page.

4. Select the album that contains the picture that you want to set as the default picture.

5. Click the picture to view additional options and settings. The picture is expanded on your screen.

6. Hover your mouse pointer over the picture; a horizontal menu will appear near the bottom of the picture.

7. Select "Options" from the horizontal menu and click "Make Profile Picture" to make the picture your default profile picture.
