Steps To remove a friend From Your Facebook List.
Step 1. Go to your friends' list on Facebook. You can do this by going to your profile and selecting friends.
Step 2. Choose the friend you are willing to remove.
Step 3. Remove friend: In other to remove your friend, press the oval switch situated alongside the message switch on your buddy's cover photo. Click "Block".
Step 4. Confirm "remove": Press “Remove"
Step 5. Proceed by pressing "Enter”: Press "Enter" again to proceed.
Step 6. Finish!
You can only view the friends you removed by going to profile settings and "Block friends" If you only blocked the person you can unblock them through the same process, just click unblock but if you removed a friend it means they no longer have a space on your list, you will need to add them back
